First, a little bit about me. My name is Antti-Jussi Kovalainen. I am a developer, designer and Computer Science student from Tampere, Finland.

From the frontpage you might’ve read that designing beatiful & usable user interfaces and writing kickass code are my passions. This is still true.
I’ve been using computers since the age of two and have always been interested in them. I understand computers, and I have practically been glued to computers all my life.
Eventually, after fixing a lot of my neighbours’ computers, I was asked to create websites. That is when I found the glorious world of web designing and designing things has been my passion since. I keep up-to-date with web design via to the Internet and thanks to all the nice people out there ♥
At the moment, I’m studying Software Engineering & Hypermedia at the Tampere University of Technology. At school, software engineering and development are my main focus, so I keep the designer side of me happy by learning design myself at home.
About This Site
This site was created on both Windows and OS X. The site was designed in Photoshop & Google Chrome, developed using TextMate and Notepad++ remotely over Samba and finally deployed on Garde-Party ry’s server over SFTP.
For the back-end, we have WordPress, a bunch of plugins and MySQL. WordPress was chosen, because I wanted to learn more about popular CMSes and it seemed interesting (usually I code my own CMS). The social media icons are made by the talented @rogieking from Komodo Media.
