Here’s a little something to get your wappu spirits way up high:
– Wappu dance
– A happy engineering student
Yes, I know. These things are too awesome.
Note: Wappu is a very important festival for the engineering students in Finland.
Extra note: for some reason, I cannot write “wappu” with the regular ‘v’.

For some reason, I messed up the installation of WP SuperCache and it was serving old versions of the site to some visitors. I’ve fixed this temporarily by disabling WP Super Cache. I will update this post when I get it fixed for good.
On a related note, I also tweaked the RSS feed last night, so if you got duplicates or something like that in your feed, it’s all my fault. Sorry! But luckily, these changes should make your RSS experience that much better :)
Update: Fixed it by modifying a file path in wordpress/wp-content/advanced-cache.php

Steve Litchfield presented a great metaphor of the problem with choice people are having with assorted app stores:
You head down to the jam aisle to ‘get some marmalade’ and are presented with 33 different alternatives, including about 20 subtly differently flavoured and quality-graded variants under the supermarket’s own ‘brand’. Which one do you go for? [the chances are that you'll actually walk away]
Here’s how Steve says it should be:
one room. You ask for marmalade – they stock two brands. You make your pick – that was easy.
Indeed. Thrash or hide the real bad and useless apps, and instead make good content easily accessible.

I’ll probably write more about them later. And I’m _probably_ not switching, mainly just wanna try what OS X is like with my own hands.
Opinion after two weeks: iPhone’s great, MacBook has a weird keyboard layout.
Been pretty busy lately working on a refresh for my website, building an iPhone app and organizing GetOnlineLAN :)
